The McDonald's corporation has been notorious in it's denial of the basic facts behind its history. Their stores feature plaques honoring saavy franchiser Ray Kroc, when in actuality it should be paying homage to the true founders: Richard and Maurice "Mac" McDonald.

What a fascinating story - helped by the fact that we know the people (at least BBB) whose lives are portrated in the wonderfully written details. What an era and what a great business mind and ethic in Al Bell. Can see how this all helped shape the fascination of the true west and the artistry at work in the former "ice cube jockey". Thanks.

Enjoyed this all over again! Great job. My father, who passed away in 1998, would have been quite proud of this. Very accurate down to the smallest detail (yes, it was 122 degrees when those tourists got to Needles!).
