Thanksgiving Guests
During the holidays, it’s a great time to give thanks that we have technology like trains, planes, and automobiles—modern conveyances that are there for us when it is time to say goodbye to the relatives who have taken out time in their busy schedules to stay with us in our homes.
Parting is always such sweet sorrow. But as Benjamin Franklin wrote way back when in 1736 in Poor Richard’s Almanack, “Fish and visitors smell in three days.” Sometimes even sooner.
To make the exodus as quick and smooth as possible, be sure to check the flight departure times well ahead of schedule. Most important, get to the airport on time os no on will miss their flight! When your loved ones are dropped off at the gate and thier baggage deposited at the curb, you can rest assured that they will indeed will be leaving, safely on their way home.
